Ascension Youth Activities
Saturday, May 10th:
JOIN HANDS - young and old - as we assist the US Postal Service and the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf sort and store the 1000's of pounds of food donated that day.
Saturday, May 31st:
The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian: ALC is providing an opportunity for young and old to watch this new movie as a group then return to ALC for dinner and discussion.
Sunday, June 1st:
The Youth of Ascension will be leading worship! This will be the begining of a fun-filled day. We will celebrate summer with some special events and our annual family picnic following the service. Feel free to bring food to grill and a dish to share! Fun and games are planned. Rain or Shine
Saturday, June 7th:
Did you know that every senior high youth who is a member of an ELCA church is a member of the LYO (Lutheran Youth Organization)?
There are a number of youth and adults working to bring youth together from VT- NH-ME and upper NY. There will be an information and planning meeting at Prince of Peace in Claremont, NH, Saturday afternoon at 3pm. This will include getting-to-know-you activities, brainstorming, and dinner.
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. - 1 Timothy 4:12
