The Finance Committee is unique... we work with every committee within the church to come up with a yearly budget. Once that budget is approved by the Congregation, we work with the Financial Secretary and the Stewardship Committee on meeting that obligation. Monthly reports are prepared for the Council with quarterly reports for the Congregation in an effort to keep everyone informed. We meet monthly to review revenue and expenses and then quarterly with Thrivent, our financial advisor. Monthly balances are monitored to ensure there is adequate revenue to cover bills, payroll, and benevolence commitments on behalf of the Congregation. There are currently four members who serve with our accountant.
